If you are considering using GreenGeeks for your hosting needs let me share my experience with you. Almost two years ago I signed up for a Reseller Account with GreenGeeks. I have a small web marketing business and decided there was money to be made by offering hosting services to my clients. Prior to activating an account with GreenGeeks my total hosting experience and knowledge level were both a big fat zero. Thankfully GreenGeeks made everything very simple for me without stating the obvious which was I really didn't know what I was doing.
Needless to say, timely and friendly technical support was a must and GreenGeeks did not disappoint. Their customer support is the best customer support I have ever experienced with any company. 24/7 I get immediate response to issues and resolution of any problems. Most of the time my issues stem from simple lack of knowledge. In this business it seems there is always a huge learning curve and I often have to choose what I'm gonna read up on today. The websites I host through GreenGeeks Reseller program keep me very busy. Often I just don't have time to learn the ins & outs of hosting. Having GreenGeeks support has been like having a very knowledgeable employee on staff, 24/7 email or phone they are ready assist. The issue is usually my own fault and usually they just go ahead and fix it for me. When they realize I lack the knowledge to address a simple issue on my own they go ahead and fix the issue, explain what they did, and send me a related link or two to help me get up to speed.
Recently a few of my sites got hacked, I told support I had "no clue" on how to fix the hacks. Within minutes the GreenGeeks support team responded by fixing the hacks and sending me a link to internet security tips for the software I use (Joomla).
GreenGeeks makes offering hosting solutions to my clients very easy and quite affordable for me. I highly recommend GreenGeeks.

| Right of the bet: I would highly recommend using GreenGeeks as a Webhost.
I have been a client with several host before switching my domains to GreenGeeks and in any single case I was frustrated with the service provided as well as the technical support.

| I have a reseller acct with a different host for years. I recently learned drupal and wanted to use it on a site. My other host offered the download but the load time was so slow I knew customers would not wait so I went online to find options. I noticed GreenGeeks was top rated so I gave it a try. While setting up the site I had an error with memory I knew that the php.ini file needed to be changed but I was having trouble finding the file so at 9:30 PM on a Saturday night I clicked the chat form and talked to George. George fixed that error and as sometimes happens I had a 2nd error message. He then fixed that error. I was/am amazed this is the best service I have had with a web host in more then 10 years. Oh and my issue with the website speed was also fixed when I moved to GreenGeeks. I guess I need to start moving all of my sites. Thank you George and GreenGeeks! |

| I have tried hosting with many companies. You name it, i've tried it. None of them came close to GreenGeeks. Their personal touch in customer service is the key difference. Their response are fast and they do not shut you out when you have difficulties. They will provide you all the necessary assistance and sometimes beyond the call of duty. The only thing short of that perfect score is not able to backup my sites from my cpanel. (I am a reseller btw). |

| I am what you would call "Not a computer guy" so when I first tried to build my website I found most things very difficult and that's when I first used Green Geeks "Live Chat" feature which allows me to IM a customer service rep and every time I kept getting "George" and even with my very stupid probably childish questions he was nothing but professional and could not have been a nicer or more helpful guy over the 5 to 10 times I talked to him. He is what customer service people should strive to be, I almost cancelled by account with you guys but because of your fast and reliable customer service and mostly because of your outstanding employee George, Green Geeks will be the only hosting site I ever use. So I don't know if my review alone will get him a raise or a promotion but compared to the other customer service reps I have spoken to he is far and away the best of the bunch so thank you for all your help George. |

George was quick and professional in his attempt to help me. Unfortunately, George had to escalate my case, and asked me to send an email to tech support. I sent the email and swiftly received a response from George. Within minutes I received another message from Oleg B., the escalation was now in full swing. Oleg remedied my problem in a short time and I am now working on my new WP site.

The two technical problems I had were dealt with swiftly, and the tech guys were patient and polite with me. I've never had a domain before, and the guys never treated me like they were superior to me and never became impatient with me, which as we all know some tech guys are prone to do. My website is always up, and it loads fast. Most importantly, I like that they are a green company. | I have only been a client for 48 hours, and moving websites and domains is always complicated -if you don´t master certain level of geekyness. The GG team helped all along, were infinitely patient with my questions and requests.
I run a small non profit organisation, and we dont have a technical expert to help us, which is why I valued the support I got from the GG team. They deserve extra credits for patience -plus they worked through Easter weekend, with responses to my questions coming back within the hour.

| I am a small level website designer and have a reseller account with www.greengeeks.com, I am hosting only the websites that I design for my clients. I have another account with hostgator.com, according to my experience I like greengeeks more, with their good support and reseller plan.
I had a problem with ip address that share my domains is blacklisted by www.apews.org due to some spammer's act. I think now greengeeks gives opportunity for reseller to buy dedicated IP for the domains hosted under reseller account and assigned to more than one domains. This is realy neccessary otherwise, innocent users force to suffer the acts of spammers.

| I have only been using GreenGeeks basic web hosting service for a little over a month and I must say I am completely impressed. The pricing is on par with the other offerings from across the web - so I wasn't won-over on pricing. But...
The customer support and technical support is phenomenal! The techs here are probably getting tired of hearing my requests to install this, disable that, re-enable this again. | A few weeks ago I would have written an extremely negative review of GreenGeeks. But they pulled through masterfully and I can recommend them highly.
There was a sudden rpoblem with my email. It simply stopped working. After a couple of sessions with the tech department I was extremely frustrated and told them so in no uncertain terms.
The customer service department replied almost immediately. Within a couple of hours everything was fixed.
It was a most unusual circumstance that had caused the problem, hence the earlier frustration. But they found it and
fixed it pronto.

| I have used several hosting companies over the past 10 years or so and Green Geeks is by far the best. I have never written a review before but I had such a great experience with GreenGeeks I wanted to pass it on.
I have a web based application that ran great on my old shared host for years but we outgrew their limits and I had to move without much notice. Anyone who has looked for hosting knows there are a lot out there and it can sometimes be hard to choose. (Search over. Get GreenGeeks.) I thought that I would just go with a big well known hosting company assuming they would be fine since I didn't have a lot of time to research. I went with Network Solutions - big mistake. My time with NS was a month long nightmare and I should write a book about all the problems I had after I get out of therapy. Just a sample of Network Solutions issues: average 20 minute hold time for tech support, horrible website response time, sporadic internal server errors, in the effort to speed up response time - on two occasions - Network Solutions tech support instructed me to do something that brought down my entire site which is not the best for business. When they told me it was as good as it was going to get I decided to switch to their VPS. However, when my FTP wasn't working after 24 hours and it had to be kicked up to engineering, I decided to find another host.
I am so happy I found GreenGeeks. I was setup and ready to start moving my code and databases in less time than I typically spent on hold with NS. This is my first time using VPS so I needed a little hand-holding. Their tech support was fantastic. I had my site moved and back up and running great in less than 24 hours with their knowledgeable and quick support where I needed it.
I did hear back from Network Solutions about the ftp problem today - 2 days later - it was an email that said I would have to pay extra for any support with VPS.
Thanks, but no thanks NS. I'm a GreenGeeks customer now and I couldn't be happier. |

The only thing i wasnt to happy about is when i found out you could not make backups of the reseller accounts that you have made which is why i made the features a 4.
Other than that its amazing! I would love to see GreenGeeks offer Alpha and Master Reseller as i really want that! but i dont want to go to any other company.

| I subscribed for a 10 domain reseller plan and upgraded to 50 domain plan recently. Actually I transferring my hosting from Hostgator and Hostnine step by step.
I am small level freelance web designer. I was hosting my clients with Hostgator and Hostnine for 3 years.
I am hearing complaints from my clients mainly about emails; in fact, I lost few clients also. None of my greengeeks hosted websites ever faced any email missing problems/ mail server down problem so far.
For the small and medium clients email is a real concern. In the supporting aspect also I felt greengeeks reliable. Hope they will keep their service better level. |

| So my site(s) took an unplanned outage of a couple hours tonight, which sucked big time. To top it all off, once service was restored my main site was down hard with a database error. The built-in WordPress database repair tool wouldn't even work.
I was pretty mad when I went to greengeeks.com and clicked on the "Live Chat" feature but "Vance K." was able to get me up and running again very quickly. He was very professional and proficient and got to the root of my problem very quickly. The only delays were the times I had to hunt around for misplaced passwords. Either way, he was able to get my site repaired pretty quickly and that's why I stay with GreenGeeks.

| I've used the technical support a couple of times now and was never disappointed. The chat feature is great and my problem was solved on the spot each time. Most of all, I've come there everywhere from having a good idea of how to fix the problem to being a fish out of technological water, and I have neither encountered a customer service rep who was really frustratingly relatively-non-technical nor someone who asked questions way over my head. I once had a rep so attentive, thorough, and competent that I asked him to forward a thank you to his manager.
I don't actually have anything to complain about, because every time I do, I just start a chat with customer service and they solve the problem.
On the environmental side, most places advertising their "greenness" expect you to take something of lower quality because you love the environment. But I first decided to get my own domain about a year ago, and tried out multiple hosting sites--and GreenGeeks was the one I wound up liking the best, by FAR, and the only one I have stuck with. GreenGeeks makes me feel good about choosing something with "Green" in the name: I think truly "green" technology ultimately allows services to be faster, more reliable, cheaper, just *better*. I have found GreenGeeks hosting to be just that.

| Glad I found GreenGeeks to host with, they provide good value and the pledge of green power in a power hungry world. Tech support has been responsive via chat. Only been with them a month or so, but reliability has been good so far. The only beef I have is that ease of use could be better, seems like I'm always searching around to find what I need or where to go, whether setting up my account or using various resources. Oh well, nothing's perfect. |

| I have hosted my website on many servers over the years, ranging from free services to very expensive services. I decided to try Green Geeks 2 years ago and I have been very happy ever since. The prices are amazing, especially for the services that you are getting. As a customer, I am kept in the loop via emails from the server administrators, when upgrades occur or (in very rare cases) planned downtime will happen. In addition, I like the push for green energy and energy saving techniques that the company is obviously a strong advocate for. I plan to be a customer as long as I manage my own websites. | We're just starting our business and have used GreenGeeks to host both our customer-facing site, our development site, and our company intranet.
Soon we might need to upgrade service but for the money, our Unix hosting has been just great. The technicians have always been responsive when we have issues, and those have mostly involved just slowdowns due to shared server traffic (hence the possible need to upgrade).
I recommend GreenGeeks for folks like us who need inexpensive and reliable hosting while starting a business. |

| I've tried several hosting companies. They help you get the account quick. When you have payed for the account they vanish for support.
With greengeeks i have solved al my problems within a day, not a week.
Servers are realy fast, you have VIDEO tutorials to get you started, and if you still dont get it ask support. This i what i call value for your money.
I wouldnt change Greengeeks for any other hosting company even if it was FREE.
And yes im a customer LOL

| Like any other shared hosting service, GreenGeeks tries to stay fast, reliable, and ahead of the curve on storage and bandwidth (unlimited both, as long as you don't overwhelm your server's system resources).
The difference comes when you have to actually talk to them. There is no 30-minute hold queue; there are no Level 1 techs asking you if your Ethernet cable is plugged in. Every time I've had to contact customer/tech support, I've been routed straight to an engineer with root skills and access to my server. The first time (before signing up) the tech knew all the answers to complex billing, setup and account questions. Other times it's been a corrupted config file or a fsck, but they always seem to figure it out in a minute or three.
The result? No frustration, no hassles, great uptime. |

| I was looking for a re-seller account. I have had experience with other reseller accounts before and was more experienced this time around. As such, I did my due diligence before I made a decision to go with you. You weren't the least expensive, but often the least expensive is not a good criteria to go by. However, your pricing was reasonable for what you offer. I like the fact that you limited the number of domains that could be hosted per grade of account chosen. Unlimited often means that bandwidth will run out for someone. I also liked that you are a U.S. based company and a "green" one. Ecology is important, and we do need to utilize alternative energy sources. So far, I am pleased with your services, both technical and customer service related. And from what I have experienced, I am optimistic that I will remain pleased. |

| I am extremely satisfied with the customer service Green Geeks provided. They really stand by "Satifaction Guaranteed." I was undecided about the name I wanted for my free domain for life and finally chose what I wanted it to be after I had purchased a 3 year hosting plan. Technical support told me in an email they would "escalate" my ticket.. I thought oh great in 3 weeks I'll get my answer, but no, 5 minutes later I received the next email and it was at technical support level 3!! I was shocked how quickly I was taken care of.
